I agree it is pretty sick the way the commercial world has increasingly taken over the meaning of Christmas, while the spritiual aspects have been I think pushed to the background. But then and again, people have been thinking that for a long time. I think it might be an idea to see Christmas through a child's eyes, Santa is actually a great myth, it was great when I was a kid, and not such a shock when one day you are informed that Santa does not exist. You kind of half figure that out when you see a number of shopping centres with plump jolly men dressed in Santa Claus Outfits!
